Heidi Schedler, KC, CIC.C, had practised law for 25 years when she decided to go further. She wanted a leadership role — one that put her at the table with executives, not just advising from the sidelines. A PhD didn't fit; the Business Leadership Program for In-House Counsel did.
The program's three modules — covering business strategy, risk management, financial acumen, and team leadership — gave her more than credentials. They changed how she showed up in a room.

Schedler graduated in 2025. Months later, she was hired as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Halifax Port Authority — a role that puts her new leadership and business strategy skills directly to work.
